Science Fun

How many drops of water do you think will fit on a coin? Our predictions were mostly small but we then investigated. Some people fitted 21 or 22 drops on the 10c coin. The most was 40!!
You might like to try this in your class.

Maths

We liked your song clip about the patterns. Here are some of our favourite ones we use in Maths to help us with counting and basic facts. Hope you like them!

Maths

We liked your maths pictures. Here are some of us doing maths. We are doing Satistics and sorting things out.

I like my...

We have been doing some writing about our favourite body parts. We chose a part and then said why we like it.
(I tried to upload the slideshow but had trouble!)

Bird feeders

We had been learning about NZ Birds in our class in Science. Then we used Technology to design and create these bird feeders.
We put bird pudding in them and took them home. We made this with fat and bird seed.

Hi from M2B at George Street Normal school

We are a class of Year 1, 2 and 3 children at a school called George Street Normal. We have 5, 6 and 7 year olds in our class and we stay in the same class for 3 years. We live in Dunedin, NZ. Our teacher is called Mrs Henderson.
We liked meeting your teacher when she came to visit NZ.
